Jo Rayner


Jo is heading up the Iceni Youth projects, Social media, & the Staff team at Iceni Youth she is passionate about young people wishes to provide a safe caring & fun environment where the staff can build good relationships with the young people and other local professionals, so that together they can look at the issues affecting their lives, bringing about changes & find support when needed.

Previously Jo Volunteered in Swaffham & became a Qualified Youth worker( NCC) 1997.  As a volunteer Jo started the 1st Swaffham Skatepark project as part of the “ITV” “Year of the Millennium”. Jo  later Qualified in 2003 as a Counsellor with Off-centre Counselling M.A.P. Since the NCC cuts in  2011, Jo has been working as a support worker at Iceni Youth, working on various projects building young people’s confidence and self esteem, through various means such as  “Anti-bullying” projects, working in “Youth clubs” &  on Community Social Action projects. She has also built and maintained the Iceni Youth website.

In Jo’s free time she is very much a family person, she & her family have a collective love of live music, and Jo is never happier, than when out walking her dogs in the Norfolk Countryside or on her annual adventure travelling abroad.
