After a long business career, Dennis retired in 2012 as Iceni Partnership manager and latterly has taken over the mantle as pro bono publico chair.
Dennis started work life as an apprentice at Gloster Aircraft in Gloucester before moving to various companies in England, appointed as Managing Director of a £25m engineering company in 1990 before retiring in 2003 to Swaffham.
I was asked to join the Iceni Partnership to oversee a £3.84m project in Swaffham. This involved building a new Community Centre and upgrading the towns Assembly Rooms. The Partnership has won numerous national awards and is seen to be a centre of excellence. I am now Chairman of the Partnership as well being involved with Swaffham Lions and other community organisations.
